On Friday afternoon some artlandish people came in to help us with our art. We made some things to go into  freshney place out of different fabric. We made flowers and bugs to go on to them. We  made some out of pipe cleaners/lids. We coverd them with different wool (blue, pink, green, fluffy, different colurs and different colours on one wool piece). We put all of thm on to a big square. We had to stitch the middle and stick it on to the middle of the flower.

chocolate

June 11th, 2009 by · 2 Comments · Uncategorized

Class 4f have been learning about chocolate. At first we had an experiment of eating chocolate. Some chocolates were rich in taste. Some of them had a lot of cocoa as high as 75%. And not a lot of people liked the high cocoa in the chocolate bars. But they loved low cocoa like the dairy milk bar and the white chocolate because it’s low in cocoa as such as 35%. Some people liked the caramel bar that persentage of fat it was 40.9 grams. We thought that the dark chocolate had a bit of coffee in it because it’s rich. The reason why we had this test is because its a new project about somethingand its linked to art chocolate would be very good to draw. By John lazenby. Class 4f love chocolate. We love some chocolate not all the chocolate thats why we did the test to see what chocolate we love eating all the time. And thats why we love chocolate and we love tests. THE END bye bye.

In history we are learning about ancient Egypt. Tutunkhamun was a pharoah in his tomb, he possessed lots of riches. The explorer that found tutunkhamun’s tomb was called  Howard Carter. The worlds oldist book is thought to be a papyrus, written by the sage ptahhotep in the form of advise to his son. A surviving copy dates to about 2000 bc. There also was a pharoah called Cleopatra she also was buried in a tomb in Egypt.

4F have been learning about electricity. Each group was given the task of finding a material which conducts electricity so that Mr Franklin’s brand new games console invention would work. Without it, the world would be a less happy place!

The class worked out that some materials did conduct electricity while some didn’t. We found that metal was a good conductor. Here are some pictures of the investigation in progress.
